Daniel G. Dannenhauer, CPCU and Chairman, is the founding father of Five County Insurance Agency which was established in 1982. He moved to Lee County in 1971 from Miami. He has three children and 6 grandchildren. His three children work within the agency, Michael as CEO/President; Stephen as Sr. Vice President; and Danette as Accounting/HR Manager. Five County Insurance has a staff that is top notch. Most of their employees have been with him for over 15 years or more. His wealth of knowledge and expertise has proven him to be a very savvy business man.
Throughout Dan’s history in the insurance industry he has held many designations such as Past Chairman of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents, Past State National Director of IIABA, Past Vice President of the FWCJUA, Mitchell Stalling Award Recipient. He has previously served here in Lee County with United Way, St. Francis Xavier Church and School, Junior Achievement and the Lee Building Industry.
Dan’s love of the outdoors includes hunting, fishing and diving. He is most passionate about his wife and family.
